The Towns County Historical Society is dedicated to preserving, protecting, and promoting the rich history, culture, and heritage of Towns County, Georgia, through research, education, and community engagement, we strive to ensure that the stories of our past remain accessible and meaningful for generations to come.
Monthly Meetings - Join us on the 2nd Monday of each month (except July) for our monthly business meeting and program on Towns County History. The meeting is at 6 PM in our meeting room located at the Old Rec Center - 900 N. Main St., Hiawassee. All are welcome to join.
